Fried Spring Chicken is the Perfect Comfort Food

Fried Spring Chicken is the Perfect Comfort Food

Comfort food is a term used to describe food that provides a feeling of comfort or consolation. The type of food that is generally considered comfort food changes depending on individual cultural and geographical distinctions, but typically includes dishes like macaroni and cheese, chicken soup, bacon and eggs, or hamburgers. There's something about these classic foods that just makes us feel good when we eat them, and for many of us, they evoke happy memories from our childhoods.

For me, one of the ultimate comfort foods is fried spring chicken. This dish is especially delicious when the weather starts to get a little cooler and the leaves begin to change color. It's the perfect meal to enjoy on a lazy Sunday afternoon when you want something hearty and comforting, but don't feel like cooking a big feast.

If you've never tried fried spring chicken before, you're in for a treat. The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a delicious flavor that is all its own. I like to serve mine with some mashed potatoes and green beans for a complete meal that satisfies both my stomach and my soul.

So if you're looking for something to warm you up this fall, give fried spring chicken a try. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Fried Spring Chicken anyone?

I was just out at the grocery, and I saw they had fresh Springer Chicken. 9 dollars a pound. I love fried chicken, so I decided to buy one and try it out.

First, I cut off the wings and the legs.

Then I put some flour, salt, pepper and paprika in a bag.

I then put the chicken pieces in the bag and shook them around until they were coated.

I then heated up some oil in a pan over medium heat, and then added the chicken.

I cooked the chicken for about 10 minutes per side, or until it was golden brown and crispy.

I served it with some honey mustard sauce on the side. It was delicious!
