Fried Spring Chicken at the New Local Restaurant

Fried Spring Chicken at the New Local Restaurant

The newest restaurant in town, Local, has been generating a lot of buzz. The main attraction is the fried chicken. And it's not just any old fried chicken. It's made with Springer Mountain Farms chicken.

Springer Mountain Farms is a family-owned and operated business in Georgia. They raise free-range chickens that are certified organic and GMO free. The chickens are also antibiotic and hormone free.

The end result is some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The crust is crispy and flavorful, and the meat is tender and juicy.

The Local menu also features a variety of Southern dishes, including collard greens, black-eyed peas, macaroni and cheese, and banana pudding. The prices are very reasonable, with most items costing less than $10.

If you're looking for a good meal that won't break the bank, be sure to check out the New Local Restaurant - you won't be disappointed!

Fried Spring Chicken - So Good, You'll Wish It Was Summer Already!

I've recently discovered the wonders of fried chicken. I know – I know, it's such a Southern classic, but for some reason I never tried it until recently. Boy, was I missing out!

There's something about the lightly-floured and gently-fried chicken that just makes my taste buds sing. The outside is crispy and slightly salty, while the inside is moist and juicy. It's honestly the best thing ever.

And since it's still technically springtime, I thought I'd share my recipe for fried spring chicken. This dish is perfect for any springtime get-together or potluck – it always disappears quickly!

Ingredients: 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper 3/4 cup vegetable oil or olive oil 1 lemon, quartered Directions: 1. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with paper towels and set aside. 2. Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch pieces. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. Place the chicken into the flour mixture, making sure each piece is well coated. 3. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil until hot. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. 4. Transfer the cooked chicken to the prepared baking sheet and keep warm in the oven while you prepare the remaining chicken pieces. Serve with lemon wedges if desired. Enjoy!
